Tender description
Hampshire County Council, on behalf of the Enterprise M3 Local Enterprise Partnership (EM3), is seeking feedback from interested parties on a future project to work in partnership with the EM3 LEP, via a Collaboration Agreement, to design, build, install, commercialise, operate and maintain a new fibre spine and active network stretching 94 kms from Basingstoke to Guildford, via Hook, Camberley, Aldershot, Farnborough and Farnham. This market engagement exercise is to gain feedback from the market on some specific questions focused on the contractual form/structure of a proposed collaboration agreement and other key areas to inform our approach to the planned formal procurement process. Your responses to our market engagement questions should be emailed to Fibre@enterprisem3.org.uk no later than Friday 10th June 2022. Lot 1: Hampshire County Council, on behalf of Enterprise M3 Local Enterprise Partnership (EM3) will be seeking a suitably experienced supplier who will work with us, through a Collaboration Agreement, to design, build, install, commercialise, operate and maintain a new fibre spine and active network stretching 94km from Basingstoke to Guildford, via Hook, Camberley, Aldershot, Farnborough and Farnham. This will provide a completely new ducted, high fibre count (432+) backhaul network for large parts of the West Surrey and North Hampshire area and facilitate the delivery of further ducted network fibre spine infrastructure and local fibre access networks. This market engagement exercise is seeking feedback from suppliers in order to inform the final specification and procurement approach.
