Tender description
Nottinghamshire County Council have appointed an experienced Provider of medically managed Inpatient Detoxification Services on behalf of the following local authorities comprising the East Midlands Consortium:- • Derbyshire County Council • Derby City Council • Leicester City Council • Leicestershire County Council • Rutland County Council • Lincolnshire County Council • Nottingham City Council • Nottinghamshire County Council The Provider is required to provide the residential facility and the withdrawal and stabilisation services. The Provider is also required to administer the service which includes co-ordination and monitoring of the referrals into the service with the aim of ensuring the allocation of bed days in the service is relative to the funding allocation for each authority. The initial term of the contract will be 2 years and approximately 9 months (until 31st March 2025) with the potential to extend for up to an additional 36 months (until 31st March 2028) in increments of up to 12 months. The contract value attributed to the maximum potential contract term of 5 years and approximately 9 months is estimated to be £6,000,000 (six million pounds) inclusive of VAT.
