Tender description

Prior to the pandemic the Council developed plans to commission a new model of provision for adults to prevent and promote a recovery from common mental health problems (CMHP), improve mental wellbeing and prevent, reduce or delay the development of needs for care and support. Cabinet approval is in the process of beeing granted the current arrangements are extended via a further exemption process for a further period of up to 12 months from April 2022. This will provide an opportunity for the Council to review its intentions for mental health prevention services in light of recent events and developments, increase in alternative funding streams and also the Council’s current financial position.
