Consultancy Services for Galway City Council Housing Department, for Upgrade works at Traveller halting sites and Traveller specific group housing owned and managed by Galway City Council

Galway City Council invites tenders from suitably qualified and experienced Consultants to provide consultancy services for all stages involved in the Upgrade Works at Traveller Halting Sites and Traveller Specific Group Housing owned and managed by Galway City Council. Galway City Councils objectives are to engage Professional Consultancy in order provide a detailed review of property including welfare units, group housing and public services and spaces associated with these properties to capture physical condition including financial analysis of same. This will be required on all traveller specific housing stock throughout Galway City and its environs. The documents produced from Stages (i) to (v) will be suitably detailed to enable Galway City Council seek required funding to carry out necessary upgrade works and procure necessary external contractors including supervision to execute works as funding is made available. To aid this project Galway City Council are seeking expression of interests from suitably qualified and experienced Consultants to provide consultancy services to realise this objective to take Traveller Halting Sites and Traveller Specific Group Housing stock from its current condition from the design process stage, procurement, evaluation, construction stage to final completion. The successful Consultant will be required to identify and oversee the design process and construction works necessary so that Galway City Council objectives can be accomplished. All related fees and charges associated with Consultancy Services shall be included in the lump sum tender price for this tender call. The consultancy service must be an all-in package and incorporate all competent consultants as required so as to ensure a successful completion of the project on time and within budget.
