CCS006 Provision of Strategic Partner for Schools and Learning

<p>Derbyshire has circa 420 schools and the Council funds early years education for around 18,000 children and supports approximately 20,000 children and young people with special educational needs or disabilities to access education. Education outcomes are generally strong, with the principal issue being around consistency across the county. Despite the positive trends it is recognised that the Council needs to change to ensure it is well positioned to meet the challenges which the county&rsquo;s education community faces. We are therefore seeking a Strategic Partner for Schools and Learning who will over the 18 months it is envisaged this transformation will last, as we learn more detail from the government, assist the Council to meet its key strategic transformation themes.</p> Keywords: Strategic, Partner, Schools, Learning
