Tender description

The CANN Project (Collaborative Action for the Natura Network) is a six-year, cross-border environmental project spanning Ireland, Northern Ireland and Scotland, which is funded by the EU through the INTERREG VA Programme and managed by the Special EU Programmes Body. The project, which runs to December 2022, is being led by Newry, Mourne and Down District Council in partnership with ten other organisations consisting of scientific and research institutions, public-sector bodies, charities and community organisations. Successful events were held to mark both the beginning and the midpoint of the CANN Project and as the project is now in its last year, and we would like to celebrate the achievements of the Project to date and its legacy with a closure event. The proposed date for this celebration is the 15th of September 2022, and COVID-19 guidance permitting the event will be an in-person occasion.
