BUILDING SURVEYOR SERVICES - MAX 3 YEAR APPOINTMENT

Tender description

It is the Associations intention to identify and purchase a minimum of 15 properties, per year, and carry out significant rehabilitation works on to provide a 30-year structural lifespan on the finished units. Individual properties will be located throughout Northern Ireland and identified by NB Housing staff. It is likely that the identified properties will be concentrated in the following council areas: - Belfast City Council - Ards and North Down - Mid and East Antrim - Antrim and Newtownabbey Borough Council However, it should be stressed other council areas maybe included but any units will not be further than 50 miles from Belfast. The Building Surveyors role will be to survey each individual property and provide a comprehensive report including costs to provide a unit with a 30 year life span. The surveyor will contract manage the delivery of the works utilising NEC3 contracts and contract documents. The consultant will be responsible for the management and timing of any statutory service connections or alterations.
