The London Borough of Ealing would like to invite interested providers to participate in a soft market research exercise. Ealing Council has a duty of care to ensure that its tree stock is regularly inspected and maintained. The Arboricultural Service Contract also provides an Emergency Callout provision which is essential in maintaining the highway network and public health and safety. Ealing Tree Service ensures that the Council meets it legal duty of care in respect to trees and public safety. At present operational works are split included in Lots 1-5: tree pruning, felling works, and emergency call out. (see attachment for more detail) Any Information on experience, expertise and innovation within the market my help change the way we deliver this service across the Borough. We are keen to seek market perspective from experienced service providers and would particularly like to hear about: a. Proposed structure of the contract/s b. Proposed contract length and the proposed extensions c. Attracting SME’s d. Fixed Pricing e. How providers could support the Council to deliver value for money in an environment reducing public expenditure.
