Tender description

YPO are looking for providers to be appointed onto a Framework Agreement for the provision of winter maintenance products and services. This Framework is designed to allow YPO to meet the needs of all public sector organisations by establishing an agreement for providers to deliver to YPO customers on a “direct” basis whereby the end customer places the order with YPO and YPO places the order with the provider but the provider delivers direct to the end customer. This Framework is also designed to meet the needs of YPO by establishing an agreement for providers to deliver “stock” into YPO’s distribution centre in Wakefield, West Yorkshire. Lot 1: Brown Rock Salt 6mm or 10mm minimum 27 tonne deliveries The supply of Brown Rock Salt in 6mm and 10mm Agricultural BY-Product Additives in delivery sizes of 20 tonne at a minimum Lot 2: White Rock or Marine Salt minimum 27 tonne deliveries The supply of White De-Icing Salt in varying delivery quantities: 10 tonne Delivery via Standard Tipper OR Rigid vehicle: 20 tonne Delivery via Standard Tipper OR Rigid vehicle: 28 tonne Delivery via Standard Tipper Lot 3: Supply, Installation and Maintenance of Saturators The supply and installation of liquid holding tanks; Training of Operators; Repairs to Saturators and the servicing and Maintenance of Saturators Lot 4: Supply, Installation and Maintenance of Saturators The provision of winter gritting services, Snow Clearance Grounds Maintenance Services, Tree Maintenance Services, alongside Daily Electronic Reporting Lot 5: Sheeting - Supply, Installation and Site Management Services The supply and installation of sheeting for salt piles alongside site management of salt piles. Lot 6: Bagged Brown or White Salt 850kg and 1000kg bags The supply of Bagged Brown Rock Salt in varying sizes: 1000kg Bag - Minimum 5 Bags, 1000kg Bag - Single, 850kg Bag - Minimum 5 Bags, 850kg Bag - Single. This is inclusive of; Manual snow clearer, squeegee snow plough, ergonomic sleigh shovel, snow and ice multi tool in yellow and black, plastic and aluminium snow shovel, snow clearing kit, hand help spreader and shaker, hand held spreader and scoop, drop spreader, spinner salt spreader in various sizes, towable spreader in various sizes, liquid de-icer backpack and liquid de-icer spreader.
