Training for professionals - Target audience will be frontline staff & communities who come into daily contact with vulnerable individuals through home & community settings & need to be equipped to deal with FR concerns. Places will be allocated to those in the high-risk areas and who's contact with vulnerable cohorts is greatest. Elected members will be included, especially in Havering where no previous engagement has occurred. This will reinforce the message that Prevent tackles all forms of extremism, addressing local anti-Prevent sentiment that Muslim communities are targeted. Staff & managers will be engaged by the Prevent team & through a wide communication strategy to confirm attendance. Relevant communities will be identified through existing contacts.
