Re-Issue Provision of Site Infrastructure for Events

Tender description

Antrim and Newtownabbey Borough Council invites you to tender for the provision of Borough wide event support by way of site infrastructure for the period of 1 June 2022 to 31 May 2023 with an option, by the Council, to extend for a further two periods of 12 months (subject to review and performance). The Council wishes to appoint experienced and professional organisations to provide a variety of site infrastructure at events. The number and type of events, and site infrastructure requirements for those events will depend on the restrictions outlined in the Health Protection (Coronavirus Restrictions) Regulations (Northern Ireland) and guidance from the Public Health Agency. Furthermore, the requirement for service providers, council staff and the public to wear face coverings, during set up and set down, will be determined by The Health Protection (Coronavirus, Wearing of Face Coverings) Regulations (Northern Ireland). Service Providers must also comply to industry best practice arrangements as outlines in ‘HSC195 The Event Safety Guide’ or equivalent recognised code of practice, particularly in relation to the safe management of structures, barriers, electrical installations and sanitary conveniences (where applicable). Events may be subject to change or cancellation and the number of events may increase or decrease, especially given the current restrictions. Please note that funded events, non-Council led events (even if held on Council land), Enchanted Winter Garden and Garden Show Ireland are not included in this contract however, Council reserves the right to use this contract for use at those events. Council reserves the right to procure site infrastructure separately for events not included in the list of anticipated events, or events which may require additional / specialist support or site infrastructure with a higher specification than those provided. Each event varies in scale and dynamic with varying requirements for site infrastructure.
