Provision of Grass Cutting, Horticultural Services and Cemetery Works

Tender description

The contract is for the Council's Grounds Maintenance Services. It is split into the following Lots: 1. Grass Cutting - all Council owned areas excluding Cemeteries 2. Horticultural Services - all Council owned areas excluding Cemeteries 3. Cemetery Works - includes Grave Digging, maintenance of the grave spaces and clearance work around the graves plus associated grass cutting and horticultural services The contract duration is to be 5 years, with 2 x 12 month options to extend. The value at I.5 is the estimated value of a potential 7 year contract duration Lot 1: Grass Cutting Provision of the grass cutting service in Council owned public spaces. Additional information: The value of the contract is expected to be approx £925K pa, and the contract length is 5 years plus 2 x 12 month option to extend Lot 2: Horticultural Services The maintenance of South Tyneside Council's Horticultural Features and Hedges and Provision of Herbicide Treatment. Additional information: The value of the contract is expected to be approx £475K pa and the contract duration is 5 years plus 2 x 12 month options to extend Lot 3: Cemetery Works Provision of grounds maintenance and horticultural requirements (excluding arboriculture services) within Cemeteries, including grave digging, grave space management and grave clearance activity.
