Prison Security Pass Procurement

Tender description

The purpose of this notice is to gain an indication of whether you would be interested in bidding for the provision of security passes, related accessories and supporting services for Her Majesty's Prison and Probation Service (HMPPS). This would cover 113 public sector prison establishments across England and Wales. All members of staff wear a photographic ID pass as part of each establishment's access control measures. To this end, the MoJ is seeking suitable suppliers to provide ID passes and accessories and a managed supporting service to the organisation. The requirement comprises of two elements: ­- Provision of a managed security pass production, distribution, and support service ­- Provision of goods (passes and accessories) We are currently exploring two options for procuring this service: - Option 1: At present all ID applications are paper-based and bidders will be asked to provide proposals on that basis - Option 2: The second option will look to conduct the application process digitally through a secure online platform
