Tender description

Northamptonshire Children's Trust Authority is commissioning Therapeutic Fostering Interventions. The Children's Trust is setting up a Framework Agreement for 1 year plus a 1-year extension, pending budget being available for year2 for the provision of Therapeutic Fostering Interventions. The objectives of this Framework Agreement are to have a range of Providers that can provide high quality Therapeutic Fostering Interventions to the Trust's clients - both the children and young people the Trust is supporting and their wider family network who may also require the service. The service specification describes a requirement to establish a framework agreement with several Service Providers to supply Therapeutic Fostering Interventions to clients depending on the individuals' specific needs. Lot 1: Psychotherapy (or a talking therapy) for the child • Cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT) • Educational psychotherapy • Dialectical behavioural therapy (DBT) • Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) • Internal Family Systems Therapy (IFST) • Mindfulness Based Cognitive Therapy (MBCT) • Mentalisation Based Therapy • Neurointegration system therapy (NIS) • Reducing anxiety management plan (RAMP) • Regulating emotions therapy • Psychoanalytical therapy • Sensory integration/processing therapy • Therapeutic listening • Bereavement therapy • Others as available Lot 2: Creative or physical therapy involving the child only • Art therapy • Dance movement therapy • Drama therapy • Lego therapy • Mindful yoga • Music therapy • Play therapy • Animal-based therapy • Others as available Lot 3: Family/Filial therapy/Theraplay • Parent/child attachment play • Play Therapy • Theraplay - Certified Practitioner • Theraplay - Non-Certified Practitioner • Filial Therapy • Child to Parent Violence (CPV) Individual Based programmes • Dyadic developmental psychotherapy (DDP) certified practitioner • Dyadic developmental psychotherapy (DDP) informed/non-certified practitioner • Multi-systemic therapy (MST) • Parent Child Attachment Play (PCAP) • Psychodynamic Family Therapy • Relationship Therapy • Systemic family therapy • Video Interaction Guidance (VIG) • Video feedback intervention to promote positive parenting and sensitive discipline (VIP SD) • Others as available Lot 4: Parental group work • Building Attachments • Foundations for Attachment • Non-Violent Resistance (NVR) Programme • Nurturing Attachments • Safer Stronger Adoptive families • Secure Base/Safe Base parenting programme • Forest school skills • The great behaviour breakdown programme • Others as available Lot 5: Therapeutic short breaks or activities for the child • Therapeutic short breaks (with specific focus on delivering therapeutic interventions in a "short break" scenario, with the aim of impacting on case outcomes). • Others as available Lot 6: Therapeutic Life Story Work Therapeutic Life Story Work Lot 7: Specialist Assessments (for children, parents/ carers), • Specialist psychological assessment (based on trauma and attachment) - This should be led and undertaken by a qualified clinician(s)* and should result in a therapeutic support plan for the child(ren) / family. • Neurodevelopmental assessment - This should be led and undertaken by a qualified clinician(s)* and should result in a therapeutic support plan for the child(ren) / family. • Sensory Assessment • Use of measurement/evaluation tools such as Marschak Interaction Method (MIM) & Story stem • Others as available *licensed to practice via a regulator such as the Health and Care Professional Council e.g. a trained Clinical Psychologist or Attachment Psychotherapist. Lot 8: Staff training in therapeutic approaches • Dyadic developmental psychotherapy (DDP) training • Emotion Coaching training • Reflective supervision support for social care staff • Training to develop the emotional resilience of social care staff • Others as available Additional information: Option to extend by 1 year Lot 9: Provision of Clinical Psychology input "in-house" directly to projects/services and caseloads, as required Public Health Fostering Capacity Building and Care Leaver Mental Health projects have provision for a Clinical Psychologist working across the projects engaged in the following areas: • Oversee and advise on cohort cases, collating case summaries and assessments; • Deliver in-house training to NCT staff; • Chair the panel that recommends therapy approaches for cohort cases; • Works to embed training approached across social care staff. • Others as available.
