Future Leaders - Building resilience to radicalisation for young people

Tender description

The project would run in the London Borough of Redbridge and would be open to 50 young people from all 18 secondary schools in the borough and run for a period of 20 weeks. The aims of the project are to inform and empower this cohort of young people so they are equipped with the confidence and skills necessary to challenge any type of hateful and extremist ideologies. These well-informed young people will then return to their home schools as ambassadors of Prevent and share the message of tolerance and respect through a programme of school assemblies and activities, providing a counter narrative to any hateful or extremist activity in their schools, therefore performing the role of community stabilisers.
