Tender description

Cotoneaster species were originally introduced to the UK from Asia in the 19th century as an ornamental garden species. Since then, these species have spread widely across the UK including to important limestone crags, cliffs, slopes and dry grasslands in north Wales.As part of the Cotoneaster Control Project this contract will aim to control non-native cotoneaster species on part of a limestone grassland Site of Special Scientific Interest at Brynford, Halkyn.The contractor will use the stump treatment method to treat cotoneaster. Rope access will be required. Required qualifications include IRATA, PA1 and PA6AW.
