<p>Authorised Ventilation Engineer</p> <p>As directed by Health Technical Memorandum 03-01, Specialised ventilation for healthcare buildings, KCHFT have decided to introduce a Ventilation Safety Group. The group will be led by a Trust approved person (AP) with the support of an external authorising engineer (AE). The purpose of this agreement is to appoint an AE who will assist with policy, setup of ventilation group and ratify the appointment of the Trust&rsquo;s AP.&nbsp;</p> <p>An initial high level compliance review will need to be undertaken by the awarded supplier, taking an initial snapshot of the Trust systems to ascertain current levels of ventilation safety compliance against the HTM 03-01 Specialised Ventilation of Healthcare Buildings and other mandatory requirements.&nbsp;</p> Keywords: Authorised Engineer Ventilation, Ventilation Inspections
