Job Title Technical Accounting Manager x 1 Rate of Pay: Daily rate, open to negotiation Hours: 37 hours per week Location: Remote Working Start Date: ASAP Contract type: 12 weeks Job Description and Personnel Specification are attached, which also provides more information above the role. Brief description: We are looking for a Technical Accounting Manager on a temporary basis. Duties and responsibilities include: • Prepare for the 2021/22 year-end process by reviewing the current timetable and task list and identifying any processes that can be completed • Lead on the production of the 2021/22 Statement of Accounts and manage the team that support the year end process • Prepare working papers for the external audit process • The candidate will need excellent and up to date knowledge of Local Government accounting requirements and the Accounting Code of Practice. Stated rates must be inclusive of all known costs. No DBS is required for this role.
