Nice guidelines recommend Endopredict, Oncotype DX or Prosigna Tumour profiling tests to guide adjuvant chemotherapy decisions in early breast cancer. Of these 3 tests it has been confirmed that Oncotype DX is the only one available under the framework, Contract Ref. Pathology and Point of Care Testing, Associated Equipment, Instruments, Consumables and Accessories and Managed Services (2019/S 212-519575). A direct award has been made to Exact Sciences for Oncotype DX for the following reason: Specialist expertise is required and only available from one source.
