Provision of an Automatic Vehicle Inspection System

Southeastern are seeking a partner to supply and implement and maintain a system which facilitates the automated measurement and inspection of the condition of critical underframe components on rolling stock vehicles to improve maintenance efficiency. An example of critical components that will be required include (but are not limited to): - Brake pads (positioning & thickness) - Collector shoes (contact surface condition, positioning, height and thickness and security of fixings) - Wheel profiles and tire thickness measurements - Wheel tread condition check - Underframe (inspection of fixings and components which is able to identify loose, incorrectly oriented, damaged or missing components) The system must be capable of inspecting and differentiating different rolling stock builds which may include as a minimum (but not be limited to): Class 375 Class 377 Class 376 Class 395 Class 707 Lot 1: Southeastern are seeking a partner to supply and implement a system which facilitates the automated measurement and inspection of the condition of critical underframe components on rolling stock vehicles to improve maintenance efficiency.
