Tender description

The States’ Trading Supervisory Board (STSB), on behalf of the States of Guernsey (‘the States’), invites proposals for the management of the island’s segregated food waste from interested parties. This is to understand what options there are in the market to manage food waste and to help inform the development of a formal invitation to tender for the future contract (the current contract for management of the island’s segregated food waste expires on 31 December 2023, and as such the new contract start date will be 1 January 2024). This request for Expressions of Interest (EOI) is structured so that the States obtains an outline understanding of how the requirement will be provided, by whom and the relationships between the various parties. Also, information on the supplier’s experience, suitability and background.
