Summary of the work Design and implement infrastructure services/solutions to meet strategic plans and roadmaps for the DWP Contact Centre. Implements, administers and supports infrastructure technologies, solutions and services. Ensures that the right actions are taken to investigate, resolve and anticipate problems. Specialist role Designer Expected Contract Length 12 months Latest start date Monday 16 May 2022 Maximum Day Rate £600 Who Speclialist Work With The specialist will work within a large team to deliver the Contact Centre Modernisation Programme What Specialists Work On To join the Contact Centre Modernisation Programme to define, and implement technical processes to manage the Programmes non -Prod Test Environments, and CI/CD Pipeline for the new Contact Centre Platform build, test and deployment into the production environment Skills & Experience • Knowledge and experience of CI/CD delivery processes • Non-Prod and Production Environment management processes • Project Management • Test and Test Automation including Test Driven Development • Problem solving and identifying resolutions within large and complex projects • Cost Control and Reporting • Cloud (AWS & Azure) computing Nice to Haves • Document control of Risks and Issues • Working as a senior member of a large and complex delivery programme • Environment Management, Patch and Release Cycle Management and scheduling • Software Release management • Back-Up & Restore strategy • Physical Data Centre hosing and maintenance • Network Routing, Switching and Security • Stakeholder Management • IP Voice and Networking and routing Work Location 5 days a week, aligned to a DWP Technology hub and adherence to DWP Hybrid Working Policy Working Arrangments In line with DWP's Hybrid Working policy Security Clearance BPSS No. of Specialists to Evaluate 3 Cultural Fit Criteria • Evidence and experience of delivering at pace, with minimal supervision • Sharing knowledge and experience with other team members • Work with stakeholders with limited technical expertise • Experience of working in a culturally diverse working environment with a broad mix of contractors and internal personnel Assessment Method • Interview • Scenario or test Evaluation Weighting Technical competence 50% Cultural fit 10% Price 40% Questions from Suppliers 1.
