Electrical Works to St. Brigid's Primary School Kildare

Tender description

This project entails electrical upgrade works to the majority of the 3 buildings at St. Brigid’s Primary School in Kildare Town, Co. Kildare. The school is split across 3 No. Buildings as follows: Building A-The Presentation Building: The Presentation Building is a 2-storey building with an approximate floor area of 3700m². Building B-The Academy Building: The Academy Building is a single storey building with an approximate floor area of 1875m2. Building C-The De La Salle Building: The De La Salle Building is a 2-storey building with an approximate floor area of 2,200m2. The scope of the works will be as follows: •Decommissioning, stripping out and removal from site of all of the existing lighting & Emergency lighting installation in the 3 no. buildings. •Decommissioning, stripping out and removal from site of all of the existing cabling to the existing Emergency Lighting installation in all 3 of the buildings. •Decommissioning, stripping out and removal from site of all of the existing Fire Alarm installation in buildings B&C (The academy and de la salle buildings). •Supply and installation of a new lighting & Emergency lighting installation throughout the 3 No. Buildings building which has an approximate floor area of 7,318m². This includes all new lighting, emergency lighting, cabling, light switches, cable containment, etc. •Supply and installation of a new Fire Alarm installation throughout buildings B&C (The academy and de la salle buildings) building which has an approximate floor area of 3,615m². This includes all new smoke detectors, heat detectors, break glass unit, cabling, cable containment, etc. •Supply and installation of some new cable containment throughout the building for the new electrical services as indicated on the drawings and detailed in the specification. •Acting as PSCS for the project. •All builders works associated with the above. •All other works as indicated on drawings and in specifications.
