Chemical Analysis of Rubber Samples

Tender description

There is a requirement for the analysis of odours arising from a selection of rubber samples. • Headspace analysis of a selection of different rubber samples to identify compounds in the odour profile. • The method used must be capable of separating typical odour compounds found in rubber type materials and have suitable sensitivity for identifying these compounds (e.g. at ppb levels). • The Contractor will be required to analyse up to 25 different samples of rubber provided by Dstl. • Work will need to be completed within 4 weeks of contract award.
