The procurement and supply of pathology & diagnostics testing products and services is vital to the delivery of an effective, efficient, and resilient healthcare service. This PIN is to help inform the strategy to best meet the future procurement and supply chain needs of the NHS in both Acute & Primary Care settings, and to inform the market that NHS Supply Chain is reviewing their approach to the market for the delivery of Pathology frameworks. To assist with pre-tender market engagement and scoping of the procurement, interested parties are advised to express their interest in accordance with the information provided, within this PIN. There is a short Expression of interest SQ to complete within Jaggaer to ensure we capture all interested suppliers contact details for future communications. Lot 1: Pathology Our current proposed scope is looking to include but is not limited to Capital, Reagents & Consumables and Services relating to; • Anatomical & Chemical Pathology (inc Immuno, Haemo & Molecular) • Genomics & Genetics • Microbiology • Molecular Testing (to include LBC HPV Screening Programmes) Lot 2: Point of Care Our current proposed scope is looking to include but is not limited to Devices, Reagents & Consumables and Managed Services relating to; • Point of Care Testing • Home Testing/ Primary Care Screening programmes Lot 3: Laboratory Equipment & Consumables Our current proposed scope is looking to include but is not limited to Capital & Consumables and Services relating to; • Mortuary & Autopsy • Specimen Collection & Storage • Sample Packaging & Mailing Kits • Microscopes Lot 4: Digital Pathology & IT Our current proposed scope is looking to include but is not limited to Capital & Services relating to; • Digital Pathology Equipment & IT Systems Lot 5: Pathology Managed Services Our current proposed scope is looking to include Pathology Managed Services relating to all Pathology Disciplines with the remit to cover but not limited to; • Capital, Instruments & Devices • Reagents, Chemicals & Consumables • Maintenance • IT, AI & Software Integration • Estates • Staffing • Test Validation & Quality Control Lot 6: Pathology Sample Transport & Logisitics Services relating to the transportation of Pathology Samples & Home Testing Solutions Lot 7: Pathology Outsourced Laboratory Services Our current proposed scope is looking to include but is not limited to the provision of additional Laboratory Testing Services to support NHS Trusts with workload
