Supply & Maintain Water Coolers

Tender description

Supply and maintenance of water coolers in locations throughout East Ayrshire. The Council require to put a new call-off contract in place for the supply of chilled drinking water throughout Council offices, depots and schools, including some properties located within the South Ayrshire area which form part of the Ayrshire Roads Alliance. East Ayrshire Leisure Trust was established in 2013 and this contract covers premises leased by them from the Council. The Council carried out an exercise a few years ago to replace the majority of bottled water coolers to install, where appropriate, plumbed-in water coolers (mains fed) to provide safe chilled drinking water. The successful Service Provider will be required to replace the currently installed coolers on a like for like basis (for locations within Council and type of cooler, but replaced with coolers that have advanced in technology since the Council’s original installations) unless otherwise specified due to a change in location needs and continue a maintenance regime for the term of the contract. The supply of bottles of water and cups where appropriate will also be required. The contract will be regarded as a ‘call-off’ contract, as any surveys/installation of units will be instructed on an as required basis over the term of the contract. Service Providers will also be required to maintain any units installed.
