<p>The scheme involves replacing a temporary steel fabricated footbridge with a permanent steel fabricated bridge. Longcliffe Station Bridge is a Grade 11 listed footbridge which carries the High Peak Trail over the B5056 at Longcliffe, Derbyshire. In brief the works include:- Arrangements for removal of existing temporary bridge on hire; contractor design of a new steel footbridge (approximately 15m x 3.5m) in accordance with DMRB and Listed Building Consent (granted); the design of supporting elements for the proposed structure; masonry repairs and rebuilding of masonry parapets and curtain walls to the existing abutments; regrading of the existing Hight Peak Trail locally to accommodate the structure.</p> Keywords: Bridge
