Health Education England (HEE - the Commissioner) are putting out this notice as a PIN (Prior Information Notice) with a view to completing a Direct Award. Please note the contracting authority intends to direct award the contract to NB Medical. The case for direct award can be found on the tender portal. North West School of General Practice online learning and updates package to support trainees taking time out of training. Health Education England (HEE) believes that NB Medical Education is the only organisation able to provide a single product (NB Plus) that meets the specific requirements of GP trainees in the North West who have had a break in clinical practice because: • The team of presenters at NB Medical Education are all practicing NHS GPs who are recognised nationally and internationally within their area of expertise with a genuine passion and enthusiasm for General Practice and work tirelessly to maintain a position at the forefront of modern practice. • NB Medical Education continually redesign course content and ensure they align with the latest and most up to date policies, procedures and best practice. • NB Medical Education train over 20,000 healthcare professionals every year. • NB Plus encompasses live and pre-recorded evidence-based update courses. • All courses are accompanied by a comprehensive, searchable online course reference book and NB Plus also includes one printed course reference book of the trainee's choice. • NB Plus includes over 100 hours of interactive CPD modules and appraisal essentials including Basic Life Support and Safeguarding and Child Protection. • NB Plus is available to each trainee for 12 months and can be accessed via an app and web portal on multiple devices including PCs, laptops, tablets and mobile phones.
