Ad-hoc Taxi Services Framework

Tender description

Sunderland City Council is seeking to establish a ranked Framework for Ad-hoc taxi Services that will be based upon the level of discount offered against set tariff rates. The framework will cover the following lots: • Lot 1 – Standard Ad-hoc Journeys • Lot 2 – Short Term Ad-Hoc Routed Journeys • Lot 3 –Wheelchair Accessible Routed Journeys Lot 1: Standard Ad-hoc Journeys The provision of a private hire or hackney carriage vehicle (up to 8 passengers) for one-off journey requirements. Lot 2: Short Term Routed Journeys for Adults and Children The provision of a private hire or hackney carriage vehicle for ad-hoc short term routed journeys that cover the following service areas: Social Care (Adults & Children) Home to School Transport Community Resource Centre Transport (Adults) Lot 3: Wheelchair Accessible Routed Journeys The provision of a private hire or hackney carriage wheelchair accessible vehicle for ad-hoc short term routed journeys within the service areas as shown in Lot 2 above.
