Ad-hoc Taxi Services Framework

Tender description

<p>Sunderland City Council is seeking to establish a ranked Framework for Ad-hoc taxi Services that will be based upon the level of discount offered against set tariff rates. The framework will cover the following lots:</p> <p>&bull; Lot 1 &ndash; Standard Ad-hoc Journeys</p> <p>&bull; Lot 2 &ndash; Short Term Ad-hoc Routed Journeys</p> <p>&bull; Lot 3 &ndash;Wheelchair Accessible Routed Journeys</p> <p>Lot 1 The provision of a private hire or hackney carriage vehicle (up to 8 passengers) for one-off journey requirements.</p> <p>Lot 2 The provision of a private hire or hackney carriage vehicle for ad-hoc short term routed journeys that cover the following service areas: &bull; Social Care (Adults &amp; Children) &bull; Home to School Transport &bull; Community Resource Centre Transport (Adults)</p> <p>Lot 3 The provision of a private hire or hackney carriage wheelchair accessible vehicle for ad-hoc short term routed journeys within the service areas as shown in Lot 2 above.</p> <p>For each lot on the framework the operator supplying the highest discount on set tariff rates will be ranked first and will be contacted for a booking and so on.</p> <p>Each lot will be evaluated and awarded independently.</p> <p>Operators can bid for one, some or all lots on the framework.</p> Keywords: Transport, Taxi, Ad-hoc
