Tender description

Network Rail is looking for provision of Welfare modular Units and the purpose of this Market engagement is to engage with the supply chain ascertain feedback that will impact the development of a suitable procurement strategy, with the intention of engaging with the supply market. The primary purpose of the project is to provide welfare to staff who are working onsite conducting track renewals during a High output renewal activates. The welfare units will be fitted onto a YSA(B) Barrier Wagons which will form part of the Ballast cleaning system (BCS) and Track Renewal System (TRS). Lot 1: Network Rail are looking to potentially procure 6 Welfare units. This PIN is asking for supplier input to inform Network Rail's future procurement strategy. The objectives of the market engagement are: 1. To make the supply chain aware of the upcoming opportunity. 2. Obtain understanding of supply market interest for this opportunity. 3. Gather information that will impact the development of procurement strategy and technical specification.
