Request for Information The Authority is in the process of exploring current suppliers of 155mm Smoke and Illuminating Ammunition. If you are interested in this potential future requirement, please provide responses to the questions below: What is your current manufacturing experience of these natures? What 155mm platforms - both 39- and 52-calibre systems - is the product that you will be offering qualified to be fired from? For the product(s) that you will be offering please supply the following: Illuminating shell: What is the duration of the illumination provided by the capability? What is the luminosity, measured in candela of the illuminating capability? Smoke shell: What is the duration of the smoke screen provided by the capability?
