RDP Drainage Materials Review

Tender description

Opportunity for drainage products manufacturers. The Regional Delivery Partners (RDP) have identified a collaborative tender opportunity for drainage products. This will incorporate both plastic and concrete products for supply across the whole of National Highways Regional Investment Programme (RIP). Requirements have been aggregated by 9 of the Delivery Integration Partners (DIPS) (Balfour Beatty, Costain, BAM Nuttall, Skanska, Osborne, Kier, Taylor Woodrow, Graham and Volker Fitzpatrick) an estimated budget of £40M (note some schemes are already in flight), with scheme values varying from £250K - £10M on drainage products. More detail will be provided should it go to tender. The supply of materials will be allocated on a project by project basis to the successful bidders, ensuring long term certainty to the supply chain and to facilitate increased levels of collaboration between all parties. This exercise supports National Highways objectives to engage supply chain specialists sufficiently early to introduce innovative products and services contributing toward improved, safety, programme and a reduction in carbon. Scope: The Supply Of: - Plastic carrier and filter drainage pipes, dia ranges 150MM - 1800MM - Plastic pipe couplers, seals, bends and junctions - Manhole chambers and catchpits dia 1050MM - 3000MM - Gullys - Headwalls - Slot drain Requirements : 1.) Please note this is an advertisement for manufacturers, orders will then be placed either direct or via the DIPs preferred merchants. 2.) Provide a summary of your current manufacturing capacity and how your organisation will plan future production to ensure sufficient capacity to meet demand for our project requirements, to include; A.
