Meals on Wheels Service 2023

Tender description

Hampshire County Council currently commission a meals on wheels service to deliver a choice of suitable, nutritious, hot, 2 course lunchtime meals to adults who meet the eligibility criteria and live within Hampshire County Council's (HCC's) geographical jurisdiction. The Council is looking to undertake market engagement with potential providers of this service. This is with the aim of: • Gaining a better understanding of the market and gauging what level of interest might exist within the provider market for delivering this service • Understanding the market preferences in terms of operational requirements including implementation timescales • Gain insight into the markets preferences with regards to contract type and length • Raise awareness regarding realistic pricing structures for delivering services of this type. • Receive feedback on the current draft service specification Lot 1: Please note: Completion of the market engagement questionnaire is not intended to confer any advantage to those providers who respond should there subsequently be any future tender exercise relating to the proposed service.
