ADDA Build Limited is a timber engineering company specialising in fitting timber roof trusses for both the public and private residential market and the commercial building sector. Due to exponential growth, we are now seeking to expand our business and wish to purchase a Truss Press, a web beam roller machine, along with the necessary software to meet our growing business needs. 1. Truss Press The Truss Press, will: • Be versatile to allow the truss manufacturing press to be mounted on an A frame I beam with ‘C’ clamp hydraulic press. • Be equipped with walk-through jig that will ensure uploading trusses are both easy and safe • Include an easy-maglock non electro-magnetic pedestals on a steel floor that will allow perfect ergonomic platform on which to make the trusses. • Include a start-stop system. Regarding technical ability, the Truss Press will meet the following technical spec: Press Tonnage: 30 Tons Electric Motor: 7.5Kw 400V, 50Hz: 1.460 RPM Gantry Dimensions: L: 6.5m, W: 2.3m, H: 3.4m 1800Kg Movement: Truss Size: Press self-propelled by push button controls. Trusses up to 4.5m overall height and no limit on span. Easy-Maglock Pedestal: Welded box section with rugged Halfen channel tops and foot operated permanent magnet locking. 2. Web Beam Roller Machine • Speed of up to 1 metre per second • Include mechanical clamping and laser projection system • Efficient manufacturing capabilities to exact dimensions 3. Software The required technology will produce a fully integrated CAD layout and engineering package, with full EC5 engineering to the very latest design codes.
