Tender description

The main provisions of the service is to: •Ensure that members of the public can obtain a taxi as soon as is practicably possible. •Ensure that members of the public are safe when waiting for a licensed vehicle or other means of transport. •To ensure that members of the public get in the correct licensed vehicle if they have pre-booked a fare. •To report any possible breaches of taxi legislation. •To engage with licensed premises when setting up any taxi marshalling scheme. The estimated value (based on 2018 figures) is £16,000 per annum and the Contract term is 12 months with the option to extend a further 2 years in 12 month increments.
