Supply and Support Services for a computer based Interlocking system

The majority of IÉ’s signalling network is controlled by SSI and distributed nationally. These interlocking’s with exception of one installation, are all SSI systems of the 1980’s vintage. Iarnród Éireann are aware that these interlocking’s will need to be upgraded or strategically replaced to take account of developments (both current and future) in railway technology, and the mitigation of obsolescence issues into the future. IÉ are now seeking to procure a long-term CBI supply & support contract for an anticipated period of >20 years.
