Rough Sleeper Initiative 2022 - 2025

<p>Dorset Council Services are required to reduce rough sleeping using the Rough Sleeper Initiative funding provided by the Department of Levelling Up Housing &amp; Communities (DLUHC) to provide services. It will help to reduce the need for costly bed and breakfast accommodation as well as provide vital support that the individuals require. the aim of the funding is to support rough sleepers into settled accommodation and support the government&rsquo;s aim to eliminate rough sleeping by the end of the current parliament. The council&rsquo;s bid has provided funding for the whole period of the programme the following: &bull; Rough Sleeper Navigator Service - &pound;382,147.50 &bull; Debt &amp; Benefit Advisor (post) &ndash; &pound;99,731.50 &bull; Education Training &amp; Employment (ETE) post - &pound;77,357.50 &bull; Housing &amp; wellbeing sustainment project- &pound;241,157.50</p> <p>There are four lots of specific service provision allowing providers to tender for any lots they are interested in :</p> <p>Lot 1 &ndash; Housing and wellbeing sustainment project;</p> <p>Lot 2 &ndash; Rough sleeper debt and benefit advisor;</p> <p>Lot 3 &ndash; Education, training and employment coordinator;</p> <p>Lot 4 &ndash; Rough sleeper navigator service.</p> <p>The contract period for all lots is from 1^st October 2022 to 31^st March 2025.</p> <p>The total value of all four contracts is &pound;800,934.00</p> Keywords: Debt and benefits advice, Rough Sleepers, Housing, Education and employment advice
