Tender description

Contract to inspect and make safe Memorial/Headstones in 13 High/Very High Risk Cemeteries in Dumfries & Galloway. To inspect and make safe Memorials/Headstones in 13 cemeteries across Dumfries and Galloway in line with National guidance. Inspections would initially take place within the cemeteries, memorials/headstones posing an immediate risk and would immediately be made safe in line with national guidance and Dumfries and Galloway Councils procedures. All other memorials/headstones requiring repair will be made safe after a 2-month period once the Local Authority has attempted to contact the Lair Holder.
