LA1928C - Supply of One-Step Quantitative RT-PCR Kits for Marine Institute

Tender description

Tenders are sought for the Supply of One-Step Quantitative RT-PCR Kits for Marine Institute. This requirement is for the supply of 360 kits (at least 100 reactions per kit) in batches of 20 to be supplied to Marine institute as required over a three (3) year period. Please note: Due to an inability to predict an increase in the requirement for testing of shellfish for norovirus, which could result in a requirement of additional kits, this tender may be run again on 100% completion of supply of 360 kits. In case of lower than expected requirement for the kits, the contract may be extended by up to 2 years, or until the 100% completion of supply of 360 kits, which ever arises first. The RT-PCR kit provided must be suitable for use in the existing accredited standardised method without modifications and therefore the technical scientific evaluation of the submitted kits is of uppermost importance in the assessment of the kits.
