Tender description
At present a requirement exists for supply of Shellfish fisheries and survey scientific services. This will involve scientific observers working on commercial fishing vessels during normal fishing operations and separately on surveys to collect data on fishing location, catch, effort and by-catch on vessels fishing for shellfish. Surveys are mainly based in the Irish Sea. Survey work on Marine Institute contracted vessels will also be undertaken off the south west coast. A detailed technical description is available in the attached tender documents.
