Consultant to carry out a Feasibility Study for Llanion Slipway

The Council seek a suitable consultant to prepare, in consultation with local stakeholders, a feasibility study and outline specification for the development of Llanion slipway. Llanion slipway currently provides facilities for launching small craft onto the River Cleddau. It is situated on the southern bank of the river, at the mouth of Cosheston Pill in Pembroke Dock.This study involves exploring the option to extend the slipway and development of associated hardstanding to provide space for the construction, assembly and launch to the water, of small to medium sized structures for the expanding engineering/energy industries of Milford Haven. It forms part of a recognition that existing launch/preparation facilities are of a larger scale and are concentrated within areas owned by Milford Haven Port Authority.The consultation will inform decisions about the future development of this part of Pembroke Dock.
