Tender description
GAP Engineers have already worked with BCP Council on a full structural survey and design of engineering solutions to the structural repairs needed to bring the building up to a safe standard, which was completed in 2021 and enabled a detailed cost plan to be prepared for Phase one works We now need Engineers to provide engineering design services for the repurposing of the Royal Arcade, which is Phase two, working closely with the architects and heritage consultants (ECA and Forum Heritage). This is for RIBA Stage 2 schematic designs. This is needed to inform the architectural design to enable the designs to be costed for the business case preparation and planning application. The fees will be charged on an hourly basis and £5000 is the maximum budget for this.
