CoL is seeking consultant support to undertake WLC Assessments using the CoL WLC Assessment Checklist. The following are detailed in the WLC Assessment Checklist for completion: • Building Details - include typology, works proposed, total project gross floor area and RIBA stage. • Estimated WLC emissions (kg CO2e) for each lifecycle module (RICS PS Modules A1-A5, B1-B7, C1-C4). • RIBA stage information review, utilising the RAG system for both quality and carbon. • Embodied Carbon Assessment table, utilising the RAG system, for both quality and carbon. The Consultant will be required to apply the CoL WLC Assessment Checklist on the following Capital Projects (Table 1). Table 1: Capital Projects WLC Assessment and Checklist to be applied to Project Name Areas (m²) RIBA Stage Project Type 1 15-17 Eldon Street & 1st-5th/6 Broad Street Place 10,000 RIBA 3 Office 2 Brewery Road - Refurbishment & Extension 3,931 RIBA 5 Office 3 Finsbury Garden Pavilion and Landscaping 600 RIBA 4 New Build 4 CoL Junior School Expansion 2,400 RIBA 4 School 5 COLPAI - CoL Primary Academy & Islington 8,500 RIBA 5 School You will include in your proposal for the WLC Assessment for each project (Table 1): • Detail how the RIBA stages will align with CoL’s Gateways (Appendix 1) • Facilitate a workshop to define the metrics that you will be using, and to quantify how they will be measured as a deliverable. • Detail the key tasks for each stage • Options and associated costs, aligned to RIBA stages / CoL Gateways, this will enable CoL to prioritise, budget and programme interventions. • Indicate opportunities to reduce WLC aligned to RIBA stages / CoL Gateways, this should include opportunities lost due to RIBA stage the project is at. As part of your proposal, you will need to demonstrate the following: • How you would support CoL in meeting their Climate Action Strategy net zero targets
