Tender description

The Irish Defence Forces Corps of Engineers requires Gas Detection Equipment for use to support Defence Forces operations and training activities in Ireland. These detectors should be capable of reliably detecting combustible gases and vapours, as well as oxygen, carbon dioxide, nitrous oxide, sulphur dioxide and hydrogen sulphide as a minimum. The detectors should be water and dust resistant with a minimum IP rating of 67. This specification covers Gas Detector equipment and will include the supply, delivery to site, off-loading, testing, commissioning and training on the system. The Supplier should therefore include the cost for the supply, delivery to site, testing, commissioning and training on the system to be supplied. This covers from acceptance by the Corps of Engineers, of the following equipment, and described in detail throughout this specification.
