RIIO GD2 Gas Holder Demolition Framework

Tender description

The scope of the project portfolio is to complete the demolition of 22 gas holder demolitions within the OFGEM prescribed GD2 timeframe of 5 years.The portfolio will be let under three project Lots: Lot 1 – North East Lot 2 – West Yorkshire Lot 3 – East Yorkshire and Leeds Lot 1: Gas Holder Demolition Framework Lot 1 – North East The scope of the contract is to complete the demolition of 22 gas holder demolitions within the Ofgem prescribed GD2 timeframe of 5 years. Lot 1 – North East (5 holders) These Gas Holder Stations have been previously de-commissioned. The scope includes for the dismantling and removal of the existing natural gas storage apparatus with provision made for all associated temporary works in accordance with BS5975 and CDM 2015. The continued scope for these projects is to clean and remove all water, oil and sludge materials in strict accordance with Confined Space Legislation and applicable Trade Effluent Discharge Consents and Deployment Licence / Permits and further dismantle and demolish the ‘mothballed’ gasholders and ancillaries associated with these tanks e.g. volumetric fill & return streams, valves and above / below ground pipework, associated redundant buildings and ancillaries that are not longer required as part of the previously operational storage facilities. Lot 2: Gas Holder Demolition Framework Lot 2 - West Yorkshire The scope of the contract is to complete the demolition of 22 gas holder demolitions within the Ofgem prescribed GD2 timeframe of 5 years.The portfolio will be let under three project Lots: Lot 2 – West Yorkshire (10 holders) These Gas Holder Stations have been previously de-commissioned.
