Tender description

GENERAL MEDICAL PRACTITIONERS TO PROVIDE PRIMARY MEDICAL SERVICES UNDER A GENERAL MEDICAL SERVICES CONTRACT FOR PATIENTS REGISTERED WITH MULL & IONA MEDICAL GROUP, ISLE OF MULL. NHS Highland require registered General Medical Practitioners with remote and rural experience to deliver high quality primary medical services responsive to the needs of the 3339 registered patients. Primary Medical Services will be provided under a General Medical Services Contract (GMS) for the patients of Mull and Iona Medical Group. In addition, the GPs will be expected to provide; - Out of Hours Weekday Service (Monday to Thursday). NHS 24 triage is in place. - Comprehensive on call cover for all patients within the Community Hospital (3 beds) and Accident and Emergency Department, Monday 8am to Friday 6pm.
