Tender description

This is an invitation to a open market engagement event for: National Tutoring Programme – Delivery partner(s) from AY 2022/23 The Department for Education has provided over 1 million tutoring courses since the launch of the National Tutoring Programme in 2020. We are seeking to build on this for Academic Years 22/23 and 23/24, in response to feedback, by making the programme simpler and more flexible. To achieve this, we are seeking one or more delivery partners to deliver the following requirements: • Quality Assurance of agencies (“Tuition Partners”) supplying contract tutors, to support schools that wish to make use of call-off tutoring by subject and locality. • Recruitment of a new pool of tutors (known as “Academic Mentors”) to be assigned to schools. Management of a school-facing process for assigning Academic Mentors to schools. • Provision of a training offer, which may be delivered in-person, via e-learning or as a blended offer, for new tutors. DfE will be hosting an open, virtual early market engagement event on 8th April 2022 from 1pm to 2pm via Microsoft Teams.
