Fork Lift Truck (FLT) and Large Goods Vehicle (LGV) Driving Simulator

Wrexham County Borough Council (WCBC) is seeking to engage with the market to determine the availability of a suitable Fork Lift Truck (FLT) and Large Goods Vehicle (LGV) educational driving simulator. This simulator solution will assist members of the public who wish to move into the FLT and LGV employment sectors.This solution will be used by members of the public and as such will not be linked to WCBC’s corporate ICT network. The solution must be easily accessible to members of the public and will likely be located within a WCBC premises or partner premises, such as the Xplore centre within Wrexham town centre. The simulator setup, including vehicle controls, should be as realistic as possible in order to replicate real world vehicles.The FLT and LGV simulator solution should provide:- User guides/manuals- A variety of educational driving exercises with appropriate guidance- Real world scenarios- Individual user progress reportsIf a supplier has the ability to provide an appropriate FLT and/or LGV simulator solution and is interested in supplying WCBC, please email a brief overview of your offering to procurement@wrexham.gov.uk by 12 noon on 22nd April 2022.Potential contracts will be subject to funding and will potentially run until the end of the 2024/25 Financial Year.
