This is being funded through the Workforce recruitment and retention grant. This is a unique programme being offered by Skills for Care who are leaders in the field in relation to social care learning and development and work alongside CQC and DHSC to esnure that social care and health providers have the right skills and abilities to meet the needs of the people they serve. The social care sector is currently facing a recruitment crisis and we aim to support our social care providers by offering this programme. The programme will provide specific support around recruitment of new staff, utilising digital channels and also the use of values based recruitment approaches to attract people into the sector. The full programme will also support with workforce planning and provides dedicated one to one support to providers in using workforce data and planning tools.
